About the Chiropractor

Daniel Edwards BChiroSc MChiro

Registered DVA Provider

I wasn’t exposed to chiropractic care until my late teens, when I sought relief from persistent headaches and fatigue.  After my first adjustment I experienced first hand the relief that can come from the restoration of a properly functioning nervous system.  I connected with the philosophy of chiropractic; in that removal of interference to the nervous system can allow the body to heal itself, and enable the body to reach an optimal level of functioning.

After five years of full-time study at Sydney’s Macquarie University, I practiced in several clinics in Sydney’s Northern beaches and Inner West, then in Wellington, New Zealand, and have been based in Glebe since 2007.  I enjoy caring for people from all walks of life, and all age groups, from children to grandparents, from athletes to business people.  My patients range from healthy people wanting to stay healthy, to those suffering from chronic conditions such as arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Depending on the individual, I use a range of techniques; including manual adjusting (Diversified and Gonstead) techniques, as well as low and non-force techniques with the use of blocks and an activator instrument.  I am proficient at adjusting spinal as well as non-spinal joints such as ankles, knees, and shoulders, and when necessary, use a variety of muscle release techniques.

In addition to receiving regular chiropractic care myself; my parents, sister, two brothers and niece all benefit from regular chiropractic adjustments.
